This antique French terre de fer serving bowl was produced by U&C Sarreguemines in the late 19th to early 20th century (circa 1880–1910). Crafted in creamy iron-rich earthenware, it features a delicate green transfer-printed floral garland and ornamental border, a classic Sarreguemines motif that feels both refined and rustic.

The softly glazed interior shows authentic age wear, including gentle surface crazing and light utensil marks, lending the bowl a warm, timeworn patina that speaks to decades of use. The generous 10.5 inch diameter makes it ideal as a serving piece or as a decorative accent—beautiful styled on open shelving, a farmhouse table, or layered with other French transferware.

A timeless piece of French tableware history, equally suited to everyday beauty or thoughtful display.
