Antique French Hachette Books – Set of Two

A beautifully aged pair of antique French school books published in Paris by Librairie Hachette, featuring works by Jules César and Molière. Bound with dark blue cloth spines and wonderfully worn paper-covered boards, both volumes have developed a lovely timeworn appearance through years of use.

The set includes Commentaires sur la Guerre des Gaules by Jules César and Théâtre Choisi de Molière. Original inscriptions, library markings, foxing and wear remain throughout, adding to their authentic antique character.

A lovely little pair for a bookshelf, bedside table or layered into a collection of old French books.

France, late 19th/early 20th century.
Set of two.
