A sweet little ironstone covered dish in a classic, timeworn white, made by J. & G. Meakin of Hanley, England. Its low, rounded form and simple handled lid speak to everyday use from another era—once meant for butter, preserves, or small table servings.
There’s a quiet charm to pieces like this. The soft glaze, gentle wear, and petite scale make it just as lovely styled on open shelving as it is tucked onto a bedside table holding something small and meaningful.
A timeless addition to any collected kitchen or cozy corner.
