Antique German 800 silver tea strainer, circa 1890–1910. This exquisite Rococo Revival example features a figural cherub finial above scrolling foliate detailing and a pierced, scalloped bowl. Stamped with the German crescent moon and crown hallmark and “800” for continental silver purity. A beautiful and finely crafted piece of late-Victorian silverwork — perfect for display or refined tea service.

The ornate Rococo Revival style, cherub handle, and fine casting are typical of Hanau silversmiths, who were famous for producing elaborate decorative silver mimicking 18th-century French Rococo and Baroque forms. These were often made for export to England and North America as luxury table accessories.

How long will it take to receive my order?
Your order will be shipped using courier [Canada Post, UPS, Purolator,etc] however, depending on your distance from us or if border crossing is involved orders will take between 3 and 10 business days to arrive. (Saturday and Sunday are not business days for mail in Canada)
We do not currently ship or deliver large items such as furniture.
