Pair of Antique French Poetry Books | 1916 & 1920

A beautiful pairing of early 20th-century French poetry books, published in Paris by Mercure de France.

Featuring the works of Albert Samain and Émile Verhaeren, these original French editions have wonderfully aged cream paper covers, delicate typography and softly timeworn pages.

Dating to 1916 and 1920, they make a lovely addition to a bookshelf, bedside table or collected vignette.

Sold as a pair.

Condition: Age-related wear, including discolouration, softened edges and wear to the original paper bindings, consistent with their age.
