Antique Mellor & Co. Ironstone Soap Dish (c. late 1800s)

A charming antique ironstone soap dish made by Mellor & Co., dating to the late 19th century. This scalloped drainer top features classic English ironstone characteristics—warm crazing, a creamy glaze, and a black Royal Arms maker’s mark.  It serves beautifully as a decorative accent for a bathroom shelf, laundry room, or as a unique catch-all in the kitchen. A lovely piece of English utilitarian history.
