Antique English Toothpaste Pot Lids | Victorian Era

Dating to the late Victorian and early Edwardian period, these charming English ceramic pot lids once adorned small jars of toothpaste sold by local chemists.

Beautifully decorated with black transfer-printed lettering, each features the original maker’s advertising and promises of brighter, whiter teeth.

One particularly lovely example features Cracroft’s Areca Nut Tooth Paste, with an additional advertisement for Sulpholine Soap printed on the underside.

Wonderful little pieces of everyday history, perfect for displaying in a bathroom, on a shelf, or amongst a collection of antique English ironstone.

England | Circa 1890–1910

Sold individually. Antique wear consistent with age.
