Vintage French Ricard Stoneware Pitcher

This charming vintage French stoneware pitcher features a warm terracotta glaze with bold hand-lettered “RICARD” lettering across the front — originally created as a water pitcher to accompany the iconic French apéritif, Ricard pastis. Pieces like this were commonly found in cafés and bistros throughout France in the mid-20th century and have become highly collectible for their rustic character and unmistakable French charm.

The rich caramel glaze, sculptural handle, and simple pedestal base give it a beautiful presence styled on open shelving, in a kitchen vignette, or holding wooden utensils or garden blooms.
