Traditionally used for storing wine, grain or food, this large vintage earthenware pot was salvaged from the countryside of Northern China.
Its softly rounded form, rolled rim and deep charcoal finish have developed beautifully with age, with areas of wear and exposed terracotta adding to its timeworn appearance. Each of these vessels is unique, with variations in colour, surface markings and imperfections reflecting years of practical use.
A substantial decorative piece that would look beautiful filled with branches or greenery, or simply displayed on its own.
