A darling piece of English stoneware history, this petite Virol jar once held a bone-marrow health tonic marketed as “an ideal fat food for children & invalids.” Made in the early 1900s, these jars were sold in chemists and prized for their sturdy cream glaze and bold black transfer lettering.

Today, the charm is all in the details—the tiny apothecary shape, the soft ivory tone, and the beautifully aged typography. A lovely accent for open shelving, styled trays, or as a tiny bud vase. These smaller Virol sizes are especially sought after for their rarity and sweet scale.
